I decided to become a writer when I realized I was good at it. I’ve stayed a writer for 10+ years because I love solving problems with words. I also love solving problems in general, which is why I got involved in project management; there’s nothing quite as satisfying as feeling the ship start to list and wresting it back on course.

But I don’t limit myself to those roles. I carry the ball down field however I can.

In the past, that’s involved things like covering for the SEO team during a maternity leave, handling third-party vendor relationships, and managing a team of interns, ensuring they were on track and had what they needed to move their projects forward.

Outside of work I’m a gamer and a kung fu nerd, as well as a casual guitar player, miniatures painter, and cook.
